Disco Music History
The History Of Disco Music
Disco Music first came around in the late 60's in them days you would describe as a dance pop style and sounds of funk and soul music which always came with vocals, strings , horns , electric pianos and guitars and came and remained a top success and with bringing its own Disco Dance moves and it's clothes fashion.
It was the mid 70's when the Disco Music really came alive with big acts such as Abba, Donna Summer, and The Jackson 5 and Gloria Gaynor who was one of the first to have a long Disco Mix on vinyl.
One of the best well known Disco Legends was the Bee Gees who hit the number one with there Jive Talking solo which came a massive hit even to this day and the tracks we can name which will always be played on the Disco Dance floor.
From the mid 70's Disco Music was at its peak with film directors keeping in with the fashion and was producing films such as Saturday Night Fever and still today you will always find a Disco Track being mixed and always loved and used in films of today.
It was the early 80's Disco Music started to lose its intrest but still was being used in the production of house and techno music which was a new big thing in the late 80's and 90's.
